Your tour will include the Parliament Building, the National Theater and the main seat of government. Visit the harbor area, where older buildings have been retrofitted as boutiques and restaurants. Depart Reykjavik for a short spectacular drive, passing along the sea shore and taking you through 3.6 mile tunnel under Hvalfjordur (Whale Fjord) before arriving in Borgarnes, a small town of 2000 people. Enjoy the Icelandic Horses on the farm or take a ride along the beach. Tonight go scouting for the Northern Lights.

Enjoy a full day of leisure at Heydalur. Breakfast and Dinner included in your stay. The best way to describe what is in store for you is to quote one of the many positive reports about Heydalur as published by TripAdvisor. This one is written by an Israeli visitor from October 15, 2017.

“Best Place in Iceland”

“Wow – I don’t know how to start. We stayed in Heydalur September 18-20 and it was an amazing experience. Heydalur? What is this? I never heard of this before, so I started checking and found this gem. It was such an amazing experience. The dogs welcomed us and jumped at us and then the parrot said “HELLO”, and we were so happy! We tried all the pools and hot tubs which were great! Loki the dog came with us to the natural hot spring and was great company. We went kayaking and saw the seals so close to us! When we were tired we just sat outside and read a book. The horses are everywhere and are so nice. We opened the door to our room and saw so many horses so close and right in front of us. The dinners were great also! So, I really recommend this place”
